Kerri showcased her expertise across multiple leading national home care organizations in progressive positions of responsibility and opportunity. In a previous company, she excelled in her role as Chief Growth Officer, where she led the creation and expansion of multiple departments, nurtured a culture of collaboration and accountability, and ensured excellence and innovation in the delivery of care. Previously, as a Regional Director of Operations and Business Development, she spearheaded operational restructuring, identified and secured key partnerships, and drove initiatives that led to substantial growth of business resources. Earlier in her career, Kerri provided support and oversight to teams and facilities across multiple states as Regional Director of Home Care and Adult Day Centers, transitioned the organization to a managed care model, and actively engaged in efforts to advance healthcare legislation and community well-being.

Carrie Coumbs brings over 20 years of executive leadership in home health, hospice, and personal care, with proven success in driving operational excellence across national and international markets.
Carrie’s experience includes senior roles at Gentiva/Kindred at Home, Elara Caring, and Right at Home. Most recently, she served as an Executive Advisor to Strategic Franchising brands and international partners, focusing on innovative care models, strategic partnerships, and scalable growth. She’s also an advocate and thought leader, regularly contributing to Day One Living magazine and Growing Bolder, and has spoken nationally on senior care reform.
Since joining Acara as a business advisor in November 2024, Carrie has made a significant impact, stabilizing our PHC operations, improving EVV compliance, reducing costs, and implementing a targeted marketing strategy. Her leadership approach—centered on education, support, and accountability—has driven results in stabilization and laying the foundation for growth.

Nancy Schiaparelli joined Acara in May 2026 as the Chief Financial Officer of Acara, where she leads the finance and technology departments.
Nancy brings more than three decades of financial leadership experience in multi-unit, private-equity-backed healthcare and consumer businesses. Prior to joining Acara, she was CFO of Shore Dental (8 practices) and Cherry Tree Dental (40 practices), where she led the successful sale of Cherry Tree Dental and rebuilt financial infrastructure across both organizations. Before that, she spent six years as CFO of Pure Dental Brands, an $80 million multi-unit dental services organization spanning 55+ practices across eight states, where she led financial and revenue cycle management operations through sustained growth and ultimately guided the company through six transactions completed within an eight-week period.
Earlier in her career, Nancy served as CFO of Dental Services Group, a $130 million multi-unit dental laboratory business, and as CFO of American Dental Partners, a $250 million healthcare organization with more than 270 clinics. She also held the role of Global CFO at BIC Advertising and Promotional Products, where she led the financial integration of international acquisitions and built global finance and reporting infrastructure. Nancy began her career in consumer goods, spending 17 years at Unilever in a series of senior finance and operations leadership roles across the U.S. and Canada, following earlier experience at ConAgra and Coopers & Lybrand.
Across her career, Nancy has partnered closely with CEOs, COOs, and private equity sponsors to drive growth through acquisitions, strengthen cash and debt management, and build the financial infrastructure that supports scalable, multi-unit businesses.
Michelle Pickering is the COO at Momentum Healthcare & Technology Consulting, where she leads operations, delivery, and governance. She advises healthcare providers, technology companies, and investor-backed organizations on scaling, integration, and performance optimization.
With over 20 years of experience across hospice, home health, home care, post-acute, and ancillary services, Michelle specializes in operational transformation, mergers and acquisitions strategy, and building scalable systems that support sustainable growth. She has a track record of improving EBITDA, strengthening organizational performance, and aligning operations with care quality.
Previously, Michelle served as CEO of Paradigm Health, where she led operational and financial improvements, building a high-performing M&A function. She has also held leadership roles within private equity-backed organizations, leading acquisitions, integrations, and multi-site expansion.
Michelle is known for aligning people, processes, and technology—including AI—to create high-performing, patient-centered organizations. She also serves on the Board of IDEAL for Healthcare, supporting its mission to advance women in healthcare leadership.
Kindell Weaver serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at Acara Healthcare, bringing over two decades of strategic HR leadership dedicated to strengthening organizational culture, elevating employee experience, and empowering teams to deliver exceptional care. She is committed to building a people‑first environment where employees feel supported, valued, and equipped to thrive.
Across her career, Kindell has led transformative large‑scale HR operations for multi‑state organizations, directed high‑volume onboarding and benefits programs, and built HR service centers that deliver consistent, high‑quality support. She has overseen complex organizational transitions, including the successful integration of hundreds of employees during major acquisitions, ensuring continuity, stability, and alignment with mission‑driven goals. Her leadership has shaped innovative total rewards programs, strengthened compliance and policy frameworks, and advanced workforce planning, communication systems, and HR technology capabilities.
Kindell is driven by a deep commitment to supporting caregivers and the teams who serve them. She leads with clarity, accountability, and collaboration — ensuring that HR strategies reinforce Acara Healthcare’s mission and empower employees to deliver exceptional care. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Global Business from Arizona State University West, along with SHRM‑SCP certification.
Brooks Royer serves as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Acara Healthcare, bringing over a decade of finance leadership across healthcare and high-growth operating businesses. Brooks leads budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across Acara’s service lines, working closely with branch and clinical leadership to make sure resources reach the patients and caregivers who need them. He previously served as Director of FP&A at HOPCo and held finance roles at Carvana, GitLab, and Rackspace. Brooks holds an MBA from the University of Houston and lives in the Texas Hill Country.
